About Eloise

Eloise graduated from QUT with distinction in 2017. She considers herself to be very fortunate to have had the mentorship of Jason McLellan throughout her studies, and during that time she developed a strong passion for paediatric podiatry.

Eloise has a natural affinity with children which she attributes to years of working with and teaching young children during her time as a classical dancer. Her training and expertise as a dancer are something she draws on when treating children, and she regularly undertakes pre-pointe assessments for dancers to ensure they are ready to transition en pointe. Eloise is a compassionate and honest clinician, who strongly believes in working with parents and carers to determine the best outcome for the child.

Eloise is known for undertaking thorough and caring assessments to achieve comprehensive and holistic, evidence-based treatment plans.

"I prioritise making a connection with my patients and their families. It helps them to feel more comfortable with me as a healthcare provider. It allows me to better understand their needs and provide a more tailored and personal approach to their care."

Having taken a small pause clinically to welcome her first child, Eloise returns to the LBF team more eager than ever, continuing her pathway to gaining her paediatric specialty.

"The field of paediatric podiatry is so incredibly rewarding. I appreciate the opportunities in building relationships, collaborating with other health care professionals and working with diverse patient populations."
